Native born alsacian man, Philippe BOHRER has learnt with the greatest french Chefs (Paul Bocuse, Bernard Loiseau et Jacques Lameloise) During his career he served some of the world's most famous people. Private chef of two different presidents of the french republic, Valéry Giscard d'Estaing and François Mitterand, he built up an experience and gained technicality, which added to his inborn creativity permitted him when he was 30 years old to get one michelin star in this reference guide for gourmets all over the world. And to get a good mark in the Gault & Millau Guide (15/20) and in the Champérard guide as well.
In 1996, he create the company EPICURE, consultancy in gastronomy which has developped worldwide.
Without leaving ROUFFACH ! he dreams and expresses himself at the restaurant "Au Crocodile" in Strasbourg since April 2009. He gives his touch and shows his talent slowly without breaking the spirit of the place.
